Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre
Australia’s most versatile meeting, convention and event space opened its doors for its first International Business Event in July 2009.
The centrepiece of an AUD$1.4 billion urban development, the new Melbourne Convention Centre includes a 5,553 seat plenary hall, 32 meeting rooms of various sizes and a grand banquet room for 1,500.
The development includes a Hilton hotel and a lively riverside precinct, including 60,000 m2 of retail which will revitalise the last crucial section of the Yarra River edge and link Southbank to Docklands.
