SCHOLARSHIPS

The State Government of Victoria is extremely supportive of our Bid and clearly understands both the economic and social value that International Events bring to Melbourne and Victoria. We have prepared a successful submission to the State Government to financially support the International Congress of Immunology 2016.

Funding of at least AUD$300,000 has been guaranteed.

This funding will be used to support primarily Young Investigators from developed and under-developed countries

Although the exact criteria for the Scholarships has not yet been determined, it is anticipated that they will be assessed on a case by case basis. Acceptance of an abstract would be a prerequisite for eligibility as well as a brief supporting statement and curriculum vitae.

A Committee will be established specifically to manage the Scholarships allocation process.
