Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau (MCVB) offers extensive post-bid support services including delegate boosting, representation at industry trade shows, PR and media support and Government support and liaison.
MCVB's Post Bid Services
Once an event has been won for Melbourne, MCVB works closely with our Conference Organising Partners, Professional Conference Organisers and with clients directly to:
- Increase delegate numbers
- Provide on-site information booths at expos, conferences and exhibitions
- Provide access to MCVB’s promotional materials
- Provide on-site support (such as securing key note speakers).
City Wide Conference Support
MCVB also assists in boosting delegate numbers by providing support through the City Wide Support Package (CWSP). An initiative developed with a variety of partners – including the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the City of Melbourne, Destination Melbourne and Tourism Victoria – the CWSP provides support in areas such as marketing to increase delegate numbers.
Our goal is to maximise delegate attendance at Business Events held in Melbourne and Victoria to benefit our clients, members, business and leisure tourism industries and the Victorian State economy.
