Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau

Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau (MCVB) is a not-for-profit organisation which markets Melbourne and Victoria internationally as a premier Business Events destination. MCVB works with associations to identify and bid for the right to host Business Events, i.e. meetings, incentive travel reward programs, conventions and exhibitions, from around the world.

MCVB was the first Convention and Visitors Bureau in Australia, and has been successfully winning, developing and promoting national and international Business Events for Melbourne and Victoria for more than four decades. MCVB is a partnership between the State Government of Victoria and private enterprise.

The Organisation

With more than 35 staff and representatives based in Melbourne, New South Wales, Singapore, Hong Kong, New York, Chicago and London, MCVB can assist you in all aspects of planning and organising meetings, incentive programs, conferences and special events.

MCVB works with its membership base of more than 260 leading Business Events industry suppliers to provide Meeting Planners with access to a broad choice of the best products and services available. Our members include accommodation and convention venues, tour operators, service providers, conference organisers, restaurants, retailers, tourist venues and attractions.
