Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre

Australia's most versatile meeting, convention and event space will open its doors for business in July. The centrepiece of an A$1.4 billion urban development, the new Melbourne Convention Centre will have a 5,000 seat plenary hall, 32 meeting rooms of various sizes and a grand banquet hall for 1,500. The development includes a Hilton hotel and a lively riverside precinct, including 60,000m2 of retail which will revitalise the last crucial section of the Yarra River edge and link Southbank to Docklands.
The new Centre will be a major Melbourne landmark, complementing the city's other iconic arts and cultural buildings. As well as being visually striking, its architecture and interior design will leave those who enter the space feeling like they have truly experienced Melbourne.
